DOD Sanctions Free Social Network for Active Duty

Friday, June 20th, 2008 @ 12:36 am | Uncategorized

The DOD has authorized a free Social Network (like Facebook, Myspace…) for servicemembers and their famiies to stay in contact. Families get these sites with funds provided by sponsors (a nice touch from a thankful public) and keep them as long as the member is active. This network is secure and therefore safer for servicemembers and families alike. I’ve applied for my site and am awaiting a response. I’ll follow up with another post when I get started on the site.
