States Consider Compact Regarding Military High Schoolers

Monday, March 24th, 2008 @ 6:18 pm | Children's Education

The North Central Illinois News Tribune is reporting today that several states are considering a compact that would make it easier for military high schoolers to graduate. The story reports that items such as temporary transcripts, graduation requirements, and extra curricular group involvement (i.e. Honor Societies) would be standardized to ease transfers for kids of active duty servicemembers.

This proposed change could make life a little simpler for the thousands of military families uprooted every few years.
